Help Build a School for Mubaku

Charles with a few of the kids celebrating some of the items our donors from San Clemente, California sent us.

This Mubaku community is in desperate need of an educational facility, in order to provide a safe and inspiring environment for the children of this region. It is our hope that, through education, an environment is created that will deter poverty and school drop out,  along with fostering a life long love for learning and sense of community pride. The land is available, yet the funds to complete the structure are not. Our goal is to make a difference in the life of others less fortunate than ourselves, recognizing that a simple act of kindness can make all the difference…..the cost of completing the single 4 room building is approximately $20,000  and your contributions  will make it a reality.

The village of Mubaku is located in northwest Uganda, across Lake Albert from the Democratic Republic of Congo, virtually in the heart of central Africa and bordering Murchison Falls National Park on the southern bank of the River Nile.

With the money’s raised since October  construction of  the new school house to replace the existing shade structure  is mostly completed and the building is being used.  But there is still a lot to do.

All contributions  through this website go to the  Mubaku Educational Foundation (MEF) which sends the funds to the Uganda.   On March 11, 2019, MEF was granted  tax-exempt 501(c)3 status by the IRS.(#83-3206945)
